Finished Quilt Top, now on its way to be quilted

Finished Quilt Top, on its way to the quilter

The quilt top and quilt back are now completely finished being pieced, pressed, and squared up. I dropped them off (along with the batting– the padded filling that gets sandwiched between the top and back) at Marty Frolli’s house this morning. She is ready to go to work with her long-arm quilting machine to add that professional and beautiful touch. Thank you, Marty!

All that will be left to do once I get it back from Marty, will be to sew on the binding and label. And then be ready to pick the WINNER on Monday!
You still have time to get a chance to win this quilt. I am accepting donations (through my fundraising site: http://www.gofundme.com/quilt4newtown) until MONDAY, JANUARY 21 at noon Pacific time. Then I will randomly select a winner from among all donors who gave $25 or more.
